Not enough young, female, and working class people: Unequal Democracies on Index.hr

The Croatian media outlet Index.hr reported on our Unequal Democracies project.

In the publication Who does (not) vote in Croatia? or, if you understand Croatian,Tko (ni)je zastupljen u saboru?, we look in detail at which characteristics are shared among people who don't participate in elections and whose viewpoints are thus less represented. Our analysis of the Croatian Parliament shows shortcomings in the representation of different demographic groups, in particular among women, people under the age of 30, people without a university education and, most prominently, the working class.
